Giants unveil hydroponic garden in center field at AT&T Park
It's impossible not to look at hydroponics as anything but futuristic. Even though the modern concept has been around since the early 20th century, it still feels like something you'd find on a spaceship or on the roof of a skyscraper in the year 2045.
And yet, the Giants just opened a new hydroponic garden out in center field at AT&T Park, and it looks like a super zen place to watch some baseball and enjoy delicious, fruits and veggies:
All the food grown in the garden will be served throughout the park, which is awesomely cool. And, perhaps most importantly, it gives the home run hitters of San Francisco yet another inviting target:
