Brewers outfielders collide and Matt Garza freaks out

Perhaps it was fate. Perhaps it was destiny. Perhaps it was simply trying to catch a flying object while not observing your surroundings. 

Whatever the cause, Carlos Gomez and Ryan Braun met, hard, at an intersection in the Brewers outfield last night. 

Fortunately, both were okay and somehow Gomez was able to hang on to the ball for the catch. 

But seeing the violence of two human figures come crashing into one another shook Matt Garza to his very core. 

Turns out, many things shake Garza to his very core. 

"Hey Matt, do you ever think that humans are ancestors of ancient aliens?" 

"Hey Matt, do you ever think about antibiotic-resistant bacteria and how it's humankind's greatest threat?"

"Hey Matt, do you think that consciousness is a tragic misstep in human evolution?" 

"Hey Matt, what's the deal with Transformers 4? Like, seriously."
