Chris Heisey loses contact lens, makes great catch

What's that old baseball saying:

When you lose your contact lens and nobody on the field or in the broadcast booth has any idea what the hell is going on, you make a great defensive play.

What's that? That's not a saying? Maybe it should be. 

During the Reds-Marlins game Thursday night, Cincinnati outfielder Chris Heisey had to step out for a moment to put in a new contact lens. That led to confusion with the umpires not knowing what was going on:

and Johnny Cueto having to ask Brayan Pena for help:

"His eye."

"His what?" 

"Heisey's eye!"

"Who says hi?" 

Finally, Heisey re-emerged. With his vision restored, this happened:

But did Heisey just put a contact in? Or did he insert a special futuristic baseball-seeking computer eye chip thingy that makes his vision look like this:
