Jeff Bridges' 'Big Lebowski' first pitch really tied the diamond together

Though the first pitch is merely ceremonial, it's important to do it well. If you're a celebrity given this responsibility, you better be able to do a couple of flips or break ten stone blocks with your head. And if you screw it up, no matter how beloved you are, we'll never let you forget it.

But Jeff Bridges wasn't worried about any of that when he threw out the first pitch on Friday night at Dodger Stadium. Well, by "threw" we mean "bowled", just like his character in The Big Lebowski:

Who needs acrobatics or perfect strikes? Jeff Bridges abides. I don't know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowing he's out there, rolling first pitches down to the catcher for all us sinners.
