Red Sox-Yankees game delayed due to terrifying swarm of bees

To paraphrase William Shakespeare by way of Sam Spade, this video is the stuff that nightmares are made of.

In the third inning of Tuesday's Red Sox-Yankees matchup, a swarm of bees caused a lengthy on-field delay.

Literally a swarm of bees.

Now, this isn't the first time something like this has happened, and it probably won't be the last, but the Red Sox were clearly a bit flustered.

First, Red Sox utilityman Mike Carp wanted no parts of the bees:

And then the umpires joined him:

But, thankfully, these brave crewmembers came on the field to take care of the problem and get the game back underway:
