Hideki Matsui homers in Hall of Fame Classic

You've probably heard about how terrifying Godzilla is, but to opposing pitchers, Hideki "Godzilla" Matsui was even scarier.

Matsui joined other legends of the game in Cooperstown, N.Y. for Saturday's Hall of Fame Classic. The matchup featured Hall of Famers Roberto Alomar, Andre Dawson, Rollie Fingers, Eddie Murray, Phil Niekro and Ozzie Smith. Also participating were more recently-retired representatives of all 30 MLB teams, including greats such as Matsui, Pedro Martinez and Jim Thome.

Niekro and Smith handled the managerial duties for the two teams, dubbed the "Knucksies" and the "Wizards," naturally.

While the game ended in a 4-4 draw, Godzilla helped the Knucksies strike first with this towering home run off former Braves pitcher Steve Avery:
