Jose Altuve rides bullet train, impressed by Mt. Fuji

Just like Stanley and Livingstone, Jose Altuve and the dude sitting next to him on the bullet train have become an iconic duo in the history of travel. Altuve and his seatmate might not have mapped parts of Africa, but they did see Mount Fuji from their window.

Not one to let a historic moment pass unrecorded, the Lewis to Altuve's Clark asked him what he thought of Japan's most famous summit. Though his description might not be quite as quotable as those of his fellow explorers, he was still quite impressed. And if you're missing the kinds of illustrations you might find in the works of other travelers, it's ok because he made sure to take a lot of pictures.

Hopefully he borrowed Dexter Fowler's new selfie stick
