Take a virtual tour of Sapporo Dome with Pirates pitcher Mark Melancon

If you're ever at Sapporo Dome, home of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, this could be your view:

Yes, you can watch baseball like you're a god gazing down upon mortals who play only for your personal amusement. All you have to do is take an elevator three stories to an observation deck, where you can see the field on one end and the city of Sapporo on the other. Three stories may not seem like much, so here's a picture of the deck:

Afraid of heights? Don't worry, the Pirates' Mark Melancon has you covered. He filmed his ascent to the observation deck so that we could tag along and enjoy the magnificent view without having to confront our crippling acrophobia.
