Angels outfielder Mike Trout hasn't had the greatest start to his postseason career. Heading into Sunday's Game 3 matchup with the Royals, Trout had yet to record a single hit in the series.
That changed when the Fish God came to the plate in the top of the first in Kansas City:
Yeah, Trout's first postseason hit was a home run in the Kauffman Stadium fountain.
Of course, that 1-0 lead wouldn't last long -- the Royals stormed back and wound up winning the matchup 8-3, sweeping the Angels out of the postseason in the process. But at least Trout will always have that dinger and many opportunities to hit more -- remember: he's still just 23
