The Phillie Phanatic brought chaos to the Padres broadcast booth
As part of a social media contest to elect the best mascot in MLB, the Phillie Phanatic made a campaign stop in the Padres broadcast booth as the Phillies hosted San Diego on Tuesday night. It was, as you'd probably expect, chaotic.
First, Padres commentator Mark Grant goaded the Phanatic by saying his favorite mascot was Mr. Met -- an obvious slap in the face to the Galapagos-native and Philly resident. The Phanatic responded, naturally, with a barrage of silly sting:
