Steve Guttenberg waxes poetic about Mets' season
Steve Guttenberg went to a Mets game on Thursday, and because he's Steve Guttenberg, he was just adorably excited about everything that has to do with his favorite team.
He believes the Mets are going far this season. Like, really, really far:
"It's sort of like being in a space shuttle before the astronauts get there. You know something's gonna happen, you know there's gonna be a blast off."
Yes, in the Gut's world, the Mets are not only going to the postseason, they're going to the moon! Or at least the International Space Station. After all:
Break through … the stratosphere, we assume.
Of course, Guttenberg is a movie star as well as superfan. When asked which of the '69 Mets he'd like to play in a film, he picked Tom Seaver. Well, almost. Watch the video above to see which of the Miracle Mets he thinks "got it goin' on."
