Watch the Maryland baseball team bust out a concert during a rain delay

Maryland baseball team starts a rain delay concert

No one likes a rain delay -- the players want to get out on the field and the fans would rather not get soaked while staring at a tarp.

Fortunately for all involved, when rain delayed Maryland's game against Pitt on Saturday, the players decided to stage an impromptu concert on the field. Naturally, this included bats used as guitars and a shirtless guy playing drums on the water coolers. I think it's a rock n' roll rule -- if you play drums, you gotta be shirtless.

Interestingly enough, Moonlight Graham of Field of Dreams fame graduated from the University of Maryland, or Maryland Agricultural College as it was then known. I wonder if playing a water cooler shirtless on a baseball diamond was his actual wish.
