91-year-old Astros fan celebrates birthday at Minute Maid Park

Skipper began her Houston baseball fandom as a supporter of the Colt .45's -- the name the Astros used from their inception in 1962 until their move to the Astrodome in 1965. She's been cheering on the franchise ever since, rooting for everyone from Nolan Ryan to George Springer.
Tuesday's birthday occasion was so important that her family even put aside their own athletic pursuits to celebrate:
"My son normally bowls Tuesday nights," Skipper said. "He says, 'well, I'm taking you to the Astros' game!'"
