What better way to introduce outdoor hockey at Chavez Ravine to the world than with the immortal voice of the Dodgers?

Before the Ducks beat the Kings 3-0 at Dodger Stadium as part of the NHL's Stadium Series on Saturday, Vin Scully briefly summarized hockey's SoCal history -- from Wayne Gretzky's arrival in 1988 to the Stanley Cups both teams have hoisted in the last seven years. 

Scully could have mentioned his own familiarity with ice skating -- two years ago, he recounted during a broadcast how he once raced Jackie Robinson on ice during a vacation in the Catskills.
