Watch Vin Scully promote the 1966 Rose Parade with Samantha from 'Bewitched'

Considering they're Hollywood's team, it's no surprise the Los Angeles Dodgers have had strong ties to sitcoms past and present. Vin Scully -- set to serve as the 2014 Rose Parade's grand marshal, along with his wife Sandi -- also hosted the 1966 Parade with actress Elizabeth Montgomery, better known as Samantha from Bewitched.

In this TV commercial from late 1965, Montgomery twitches her nose to magically summon the Dodgers announcer, mid-swing, from a golf course. From there, it's basically a battle to see who can be more charming:

The winner? Too close to call.
