Vinnie Pestano has some intriguing thoughts about the state of extraterrestrial technology

What's your stance on aliens? Here's Indians reliever Vinnie Pestano's:
My stance on Aliens: Aliens are always the more advanced species…who’s to say we arent the most advanced one out there?

True. Fiction likes to imagine beings from another world destroying American landmarks with giant green laser beams, building the pyramids or being able to separate their index and middle fingers from their ring fingers and pinkies to make a "V"-shaped salute. But it's certainly possible that the reason we haven't been contacted yet is that they're still in their Stone Ages. As Pestano pointed out though, it doesn't mean we haven't already contacted them ...
Aliens (cont): What if another species somehere has ghost stories about spotting us? #talkamongstyaselves

That's also a good point. I'm betting there are children on Saturn's moon of Titan right now who are still scared of the stories they were told this Halloween about their world's encounter with Voyager 1.
