Wanz was hunting and looking for a come-up at an awesome Mariners promotion

Michael Wansley (also known by his stage name "Wanz") has been performing music from different genres such as R&B, soul and hip hop for over 30 years. But his career reached new heights in 2012 when he joined forces with fellow Seattle musical artists Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and used his orotund voice to sing the hook on their megahit song "Thrift Shop."

Wanz was at Safeco Field on Friday to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and judge a "Thrift Shop Fashion Contest" before the Mariners played the Athletics. Fans were encouraged to "pop some tags" on the red carpet and some were even lucky enough to walk away with some awesome prizes.

Later, Wanz threw out the ceremonial first pitch while wearing his outfit from the "Thrift Shop" video:
