Watch this pitcher spear a runner trying to score from third during D-III game

There are many ways to stop a runner from reaching home. You can toss the ball to the catcher, you can tag the opposing player on his uniform, heck, you can even put the ball in your glove, do two triple-backflips, perform the Harlem Shake and finish with a perfect cartwheel onto home plate. But you can't do this, at least not legally:

The strange sequence occurred during Division III action between Hendrix College and Berry College on Sunday, with the Berry right-hander Levi Austin putting the hit on the Hendrix baserunner Collin Radack. It appears some words were exchanged after the batter made a late request for time, and then chaos ensued on the next pitch.

Also, Berry came back to win the game, prompting the headline "Baseball rallies to upend Hendrix"on the Vikings' game recap.
