We chord-ially introduce you to the batolin
Glenn Donnellan has taken "hitting" a high note to a whole new level.
The violin bat -- otherwise known as the batolin -- was the brainchild of Donnellan, who wanted to make his own electric instrument. Turning to items that resembled the proper shape, he decided to give the baseball bat a try. And it worked. Really well.
Donnellan now travels to ballparks across the country playing his electric slugger, a tour that hit Camden Yards for the National Anthem on Friday night.
What's more, the invention of the batolin now means players can play their own walk-up music! We can only dream.
