We sent a correspondent to Electric Daisy Carnival at Citi Field and, well, just check the photos ...

Just a week ago, the Mets played the Pirates at Citi Field. Hot dogs were served, great catches were made -- it was a pretty standard homestand. But this weekend was a little different. Electric Daisy Carnival took over Citi's parking lots for two days of subwoofer-induced euphoria. Calvin Harris and Afrojack headlined as over 100 DJs played on five stages to crowds of 40,000.
We sent Mets Real-Time Correspondent Andrew Harts to cover the madness. Here's what went down ...
A Matt Harvey jersey at Citi Field, perfectly normal:

Straw hasn't played for the Mets since 1990, but still fine:

Neon Mets tank top actually seems like the most appropriate outfit for this event:
A Yankees jersey in Queens. Different, but not so uncommon:

We seem to be approaching the baseball T-shirt Rubicon:
Horse heads have actually become pretty standard ballpark attire this season :

Patriotic. Maybe not normal, but patriotic:
Andrew is an outgoing guy who makes new friends easily:
She seems nice:
He seems concerned about chemical warfare:
Some of Andrew's friends weren't entirely human:
That sign says "Shoes off inside the Braindrop":
And down the rabbit hole we go:

You may want to stay away from that cat, Andrew:

Andrew, you're getting too close! Andrew!!!

And this is the last photo we received from our brave EDC correspondent:

If you see a young reporter wandering the Citi Field parking lot -- possibly mumbling about Pastrachos and Mike Piazza -- let him know we're worried:
