When you're Superman Guy, it's your duty to make it on the big screen at Safeco

Mariners' fan John, better known at Safeco as “Superman Guy,” has been dancing in his Superman shirt at M's games for the past 10 years.

John first sported the superhero shirt when he was invited to Safeco by a friend a decade ago.

“My friend had never been on the big screen, so I told him since he got the tickets, I would get him on the big screen,” John said.

After dancing, yelling and screaming in the stands, "Superman Guy" finally got up on the big screen near the end of the game.

“The sections around me that had been seeing me dance the whole time just erupted and went crazy, and I’ve been doing it ever since,” he said.
