Another Minor League manager had a huge tantrum

In some European countries, it's tradition to leave your shoes out on Christmas so that St. Nicholas will come and fill them with candy. In the Minor Leagues, it's tradition to leave your shoes on home plate so that they can be filled with rage.
Last week, Myrtle Beach Pelicans manager Joe Mikulk had a spectacular hissy fit, during which he left a good portion of his uniform-- including his shoes -- on the field. On Monday night, Tommy Thompson, manager of the Class A Winston-Salem Dash, had his own shoeless tirade after he was ejected for arguing a checked swing that wasn't called a strike. Unlike Mikulik, he kept his shirt on, opting to throw his helmet into the crowd instead:
Eject ye, angry gentlemen/may you showcase your dismay/but remember home plate umpires/can ruin your whole day.
