Yankees and Army are honored to play game at West Point

The United States Military Academy and the New York Yankees -- now that's a whole lot of American history in one sentence.
Two days prior to Opening Day in the Bronx, the Yanks played an exhibition game against Army at West Point's Johnson Stadium and Army players had the chance to see some of their favorite stars.
"They taught me about the day-to-day, you know how the Major Leagues work," said outfielder Danny Cortes. "They're just normal human beings trying to have fun. You don't take [the game] too hard and it's an opportunity every day to become better."
The Yankees were also humbled during their visit -- especially Mariano Rivera.
"Amazing," he said. "A beautiful place. Everything is first class."
