Fans pretending to be umpires has become one of the most reliably enjoyable shenanigans at a baseball game. But, as it has grown in popularity, so too has its production value -- there are full umpire uniforms, meticulous attention to the count and we're seemingly a year away from somebody pulling a full Leslie Nielsen: 

Sometimes, though, you just need to get back to the basics. Take it from this young Yankees fan, who was sitting behind home plate during New York's win over the Twins on Wednesday. He didn't need any bells and whistles -- just two arms, a whole bunch of energy and a deep love of the punchout:

The kid kept it up for innings on end. Be warned though, young padawan, for you must never lose sight of the first rule of fake-umpiring: Always make sure the batter has actually struck out.
