Hey, did you know that the United States Women's National Team won the 2015 Women's World Cup? Because it did and it was glorious:

Now, Yordano Ventura is a professional baseball player for the Royals who was born in the Dominican Republic, but he must have caught #USWNT fever with the rest of us -- or he was just really jazzed about the anniversary of that time Paul O'Neill turned baseball into soccer -- because he went ahead and also turned baseball into soccer on Thursday.

With two outs in the bottom of the second against the Rays, David DeJesus hit a ground ball up the middle. Unable to get his glove down in time, Ventura improvised, going all Carli Lloyd on the thing and kicking it over to Omar Infante at second, who relayed to Eric Hosmer at first for the out:
