Yordano Ventura took his World Series talents to play softball with local fans in Missouri

On his first day off, Yordano Ventura played softball

Two days after he pitched seven shutout innings for the Royals in Game 6 of the World Series, Yordano Ventura took his 100+ mph fastball to the high-stakes setting of … the softball diamonds in Tiffany Fields, Mo..

The Royals rookie took some pictures, signed a few autographs and played a bit of softball. You know, casual.

I guess when you're playing a Major Leauger, you have to talk a little trash.

According to one Twitter user, rather than giving new meaning to "fast-pitch" softball, Ventura played in center field -- presumably to try out his best Jarrod Dyson impression.

Whichever position he played, we're insanely jealous that the good folks of Tiffany Fields got to hang out and play softball with Yordano Ventura. In fact, we got to thinking of all the other casual games we would want to play with him.

Honestly, the list is probably infinite, but here are five:

Bocce ball: Can you imagine Ventura throwing the jack?

Hide-and-seek: He's a proven champ already. We just hope we fare better than this TBS reporter.

Celebrity: Yordano's nickname is "Ace," so we think he knows his celebs. There's a slight chance he would only guess celebrities that somehow relate to pitcher monikers, which actually sounds pretty fun.

Pickle: Ventura and his fastest average delivery in the Majors are really, really good at preventing stolen bases, so he's a good bet to be quite adept at hotbox. But hey, we like a challenge.

Charades: You don't put up seven blank innings in the World Series without having a good relationship with your catcher -- all that silent shaking off and communicating with Perez from the mound probably means Ventura would be a phenomenal charades teammate. It's not cheating if you don't say it out loud, right?
