You're never too old to spend your birthday at a ballgame

Twin sisters Loraine Glenewinkel and Viola Meier Merz celebrated their 90th birthdays at Minute Maid Park on Monday with nearly 50 children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren by their sides.

“We love baseball,” Glenewinkel said. “It’s our favorite sport.”

The longtime Houston fans from Brenham, TX, were invited to watch early batting practice and received a surprise visit from Marwin Gonzalez and Scott Moore. They said they hoped to see a home run hit by their favorite current Astro, Jose Altuve.
