SABR Analytics Conference

MLB's Diversity and Inclusion Department subsidizes conference fees for select college students to attend the SABR Analytics Conference, a three-day event featuring guest speakers, presentations on the impact of analytics on the game of baseball and features the Diamond Dollars Case Competition. MLB also arranges additional educational and networking opportunities in Phoenix, including private meet and greets, informational sessions with MLB employees and a Spring Training game.

The Buck O'Neil Professional Baseball Scouts and Coaches Association

The Buck O'Neil Professional Baseball Scouts and Coaches Association was created to provide a forum for scouts/coaches to constructively share their passion for the game, in addition to providing a place for networking, mentoring and professional development.
For the past three years, support has been given through MLB Continuing Education sessions helping those in the game look at ways to grow as future executives and exposure to other available opportunities.
