Before the Mets and Phillies closed out their five-game series with the second annual MLB Little League Classic presented by GEICO at BB&T Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field on Sunday, the big leaguers enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime day alongside the stars of the 2018 Little League World Series. was on the ground in Williamsport, Pa., for all the action.

Fans have made a path for the Phillies to walk through upon arrival to the Little League complex. Kids are lined up with balls and pens in hand, many in Phillies and Mets apparel, discussing who they most want to have an autograph from.

Olympic softball gold medalist Jennie Finch stopped briefly at Play Ball Park to soft toss to Little League softball players from South Williamsport. She had a quick Q&A session and signed autographs for each of the girls. This is her first visit to Williamsport, and she is excited to be a part of the Little League history and atmosphere. More >
