In partnership with USAA, the Padres are proud to host Military Salutes at every Sunday home game and will recognize and honor each branch of service, the men and women who serve our country, and military milestones. Active duty service members, Veterans and their families receive 25% off tickets on Sundays and 10% off all season long, available online through verification by GovX. Each Sunday has a dedicated Salute, recognizing different branches, milestones, and military history throughout the season.
In 1995, the Padres were the first professional sports team to have a Military Affairs department, and since have been recognized as 'The Team of the Military' throughout professional sports. For more than two decades, the Padres have looked for ways to recognize and honor the men and women who serve. In 2009, USAA joined forces with the Padres to amplify the efforts recognizing members of the armed forces and their families. Together, the Padres and USAA have created numerous programs to give back to those serve. In recent years, the Padres efforts have expanded to include First Responders under a broader 'Those Who Serve' initiative, paying respect to the sacrifices made by Americans who provide us the freedom and safety we enjoy. Support for 'Those Who Serve' has become one of the signature identities for the Padres, continuously striving to deliver a best-in-class program. Military and their families receive 10% off Padres tickets all-season long and 25% off on all Military Appreciation Sundays.
VIASAT MILITARY HALL OF HONOR
The San Diego Padres are partnering with Viasat to honor former Padres and other Major League Baseball players around the league who served in the military and pay tribute to Armed Services’ veterans and those currently serving the U.S. military at home and around the world.
New for the 2022 season, the VIasat Military Hall of Honor, located in the Power Alley main concourse near section 133, will serve as an interactive space allowing fans to view information and different content on each honoree through two (2) touchscreen televisions within the space. Fans will also be able to record and send personalized messages to active-duty military members and various military bases in a dedicated recording booth located within the Hall of Honor area.
Hold your reenlistment ceremony on the field before a Major League Baseball game in front of your friends and family. There is no additional cost to use the field but participants must have game tickets. For more information regarding on-field reenlistment ceremonies or to schedule an event, contact [email protected].
