Padres Coach of the Year Award
The Padres’ annual Coach of the Year Program returns in 2025 to recognize and honor the positive role coaches play in the lives of San Diego’s youth.
Each week for eight weeks beginning April 7, the Padres will recognize one local baseball or softball coach and their positive impact on the lives of his or her players on and off the field as a coach, mentor and role model. At the end of the program, one of these coaches will be named the Padres 2025 Coach of the Year on the field at Petco Park on Monday, June 23.
We are seeking nominations now for deserving high school baseball or softball coaches as well as long-time youth coaches who provide valuable leadership and mentorship for the youth in our community. Each Coach of the Week will receive a $1,500 grant to support his or her program or league while the Coach of the Year will receive a $10,000 grant.
