Blue Jays begin six-game homestand on Friday with Sitcom Night at the Ballpark

Could a night at Rogers Centre BE any more fun?! Homestand features four event days, including a Victory Vlad Bobblehead giveaway on Saturday

The Toronto Blue Jays are back in town this week for a six-game homestand beginning Friday, Aug. 12 versus the Cleveland Guardians (7:07 p.m.) for Sitcom Night at the Ballpark. This is just one of four games this homestand that features a special giveaway, promotion, or event! Tickets are available now at bluejays.com/promotions.

This Friday, the Blue Jays host ‘The One at Rogers Centre’ where the first 15,000 fans will receive a Blue Jays F.R.I.E.N.D.S t-shirt giveaway upon entry. Once inside, the WestJet Flight Deck will be transformed into iconic sets from fan-favourite sitcoms, including F.R.I.E.N.D.S (Central Perk coffee shop), The Office (Kevin’s chili and Pretzel Day), Seinfeld (Kramer busting through the door), Canadian Schitt’s Creek (family portrait couch), and The Brady Bunch (interactive photo squares with “The Blue Jays Bunch”)!

There’s something for even the youngest of fans with the Kids Zone full of sitcom-themed activities. Friday’s first pitch will be thrown by Canadian actress Kelly McCormack, who plays Jess in the new adapted TV series, “A League of Their Own.”

Untucked jersey, backwards cap, glove off…it must be a Blue Jays win! All-Star Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s postgame look has become signature, and now fans can get their very own Victory Vlad Bobblehead giveaway presented by DoorDash on Saturday, Aug. 13 (3:07 p.m.); available to the first 15,000 fans upon entry.

The fun doesn’t stop there! Jr. Jays Sunday returns on August 14 (1:37 p.m.) where kids 14 and under can enjoy outdoor activities pregame beginning at 11 a.m. and come down to the field to run the bases postgame. On Tuesday, Aug. 16, fans can purchase $1 hot dogs on Loonie Dogs Night, as the Blue Jays take on the AL East rival Baltimore Orioles (7:07 p.m.). So far this season, fans have eaten 253,134 Loonie Dogs; when stacked, that is 100-times taller than the CN Tower!
