Minnesota Twins Homestand Highlights

Monday, September 16 – Sunday, September 22; Twins vs. Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals

The first-place Minnesota Twins, with a 4.5-game lead and a magic number of nine to clinch their first American League Central Division title since 2010, return to Target Field for their final homestand of the regular season. The Twins will host a pair of division opponents, beginning with three games against the Chicago White Sox (tonight-Wednesday), followed by a four-game series against the Kansas City Royals (Thursday-Sunday) that includes Fan Appreciation (Friday-Saturday) and Kid Appreciation (Sunday) events and giveaways.

Tickets are available for all seven games of the homestand and can be purchased at twinsbaseball.com, by using the MLB Ballpark app, by calling 612-33-TWINS (612-338-9467) or 800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467), or in-person at the Target Field Ticket Office.

Division Series Ticket Strips on Sale Thursday, September 19

Ticket strips for potential American League Division Series games played at Target Field will go on-sale to the public at noon CT on Thursday, September 19 via twinsbaseball.com/Postseason.

Twins and Vikings on Sunday, September 22

The City of Minneapolis again plays host to a big sports Sunday on September 22, as the Vikings welcome the Oakland Raiders for a noon kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, while the Twins play the Kansas City Royals at Target Field beginning at 1:10 p.m.

We encourage all fans to plan ahead, arrive early and consider all the transportation options available, whether you plan to drive, take transit, bike or walk.

With school back in session across Minnesota, a reminder that Monday-Thursday home night games at Target Field will have a 6:40 p.m. start time.

Additionally, the Roberto Clemente Day logo will appear on the bases and official dugout lineup cards, while a special tribute video will be played.

Outfield Wall Community Spotlight (September 16-22)

ACES: The Twins are longtime supporters of ACES (Athletes Committed to Educating Students), an out-of-school-time program that focuses on using sports as a hook to get kids excited about math and social-emotional learning. ACES provides intentional, project-based curriculum for low-income students in grades 4-8 in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, with a mission to help reduce the academic achievement gap in the Twin Cities and improve the likelihood of success for underserved students.
