Ballpark Buzz for Phillies-Giants Series, July 30-Aug. 1

J.T. Realmuto to be presented with Phillies’ Heart & Hustle Award! Plus, ceremonial first pitches by actor Miles Teller and Philadelphia Union’s Ray Gaddis

This is the only time the San Francisco Giants will be at Citizens Bank Park for the regular season. Below are some of the fan highlights surrounding this three-game series on Tuesday, July 30, to Thursday, August 1.

1. Come cheer on the Phillies during Tuesday’s 7:05 p.m. game against the Giants!
• Arriving to the ballpark early? Be sure to visit Pass and Stow, which opens two hours before game time and features an outdoor beer garden and Goose Island Bar at the Park, Foundry Pizza, a family-friendly sports pub, TVs to catch game action and more. Plus, Ashburn Alley and The Yard are open early, too, for plenty of pre-game fun.
2. The matchup continues on Wednesday night, which is also a 7:05 p.m. game. The evening includes a ceremonial first pitch by actor Miles Teller, as well as Ray Gaddis, defender for the Philadelphia Union. Plus, it’s PEANUTSNight, celebrating the PEANUTScomic strip and cartoon.
• The first 3,000 fans to purchase a Theme Night ticket at phillies.com/themenights for PEANUTS™ Night will receive a coupon for an exclusive Phillies PEANUTS™ Linus Bobblehead.
3. The final game of the series is a 1:05 p.m. Citizens Bank Businessperson’s Special, as well as #ThrowbackThursday! Also, J.T. Realmuto will be presented with the Heart & Hustle Award prior to the game, and will be recognized as the Phillies’ candidate for the national Heart & Hustle Award.
• The ballpark is going retro! On the field, Phillies players will wear a 1980s-era powder blue uniform and burgundy cap. Ballgirls and the grounds crew will also be dressed in retro outfits, and the field will feature retro batting circles and base jewels. Plus, PhanaVision will be going retro with logos, music, player headshots and features.
• Plus, the national anthem will be sung by performers of Cirque du Soleil.

Gate Openings: The main gates open 1/2 hours prior to game time, with the Left Field Gate/Ashburn Alley and a portion of the Third Base Gate granting access to Pass and Stow open 2 hours before the game.
Parking Lot Openings: All parking lots open 5 hours prior to game time.
Broadcast Information: Games on July 30-August 1 will air on NBCSP and available via live stream for authenticated subscribers on NBC Sports Philadelphia’s MyTeams app. All games will also be broadcast on WIP (94.1 FM) and WTTM (1680 AM - Spanish).
