On Thursday, May 5, to Sunday, May 8, the Philadelphia Phillies will host the New York Mets for a four-game series at Citizens Bank Park. Here’s a look at all the promotions and Phillies fun surrounding the games. See below for other need-to-know information including safety guidelines, cashless parking details, ballpark entry permitted items and more.

1.   On Thursday, May 5, the Phillies & Temple Health honor healthcare heroes at Nurses Night presented by Temple Health before and during the 6:45 p.m. game.

• More than 3,000 nurses will be at the game! Highlights include local nurses throwing a ceremonial first pitch, changing a base in the 3rd inning, and dancing with the Phillie Phanatic in the 7th inning. 

• Plus, fans can learn about nursing and career opportunities with Temple Health at the First Base Plaza or behind Section 144. Nurse leaders will be available for real-time interviews and will have the ability to make an offer on the spot.

2.   The Phillies are celebrating area educators during the 22nd annual Teacher Appreciation Night powered by Constellation on Friday, May 6, during the 7:05 p.m. game.

• The Phillies top 10 All-Star Teachers from 2022, selected from hundreds of nominations, will be honored on-field pregame.

• Plus, it’s Leine Friday; fans 21 and older are invited to stop by Leinenkugel’s Left Field or the High and Inside Pub, behind home plate on the Terrace Level, for a free koozie (while supplies last).

3.   Enjoy the 17th annual Asian Pacific Heritage Celebration taking place on Saturday, May 7, at the 4:05 p.m. game.

Highlights include:

• Elaine Ficarra, Miss Independence 2022 and Miss Philadelphia 2021, will throw a ceremonial first pitch.

• Philadelphia Philippine Folk Arts Society Inc. will perform on-field pregame.

• Philadelphia Suns Chinese Lion Dancers will be roaming the Main Concourse pregame and perform on-field at the end of the 5th inning.

• Platinum Dreams Bhangra Dancers will perform on the dugout at the end of the 7th inning.

Theme Night tickets are available in select locations at a $6 discount.

• Also happening is the Saturday Block Party, featuring DJ HBK, presented by Bud Light and Bud Light Seltzer in the Third Base Plaza adjacent to Pass and Stow!

4.   Phillies players celebrate the moms in their lives by honoring their wives and partners with a special presentation on-field prior to the 1:05 p.m. Herr’s Mother’s Appreciation Day game on Sunday, May 8.

• MLB is partnering with Susan G. Komen to recognize moms and all the important women who have provided unwavering love and support, gentle compassion, and guidance with their “Share a Moment with Mom” program. Uniformed personnel will wear New Era caps with pink logos, matching Stance socks, pink ribbon wristbands and pink decals on Nike jerseys to raise awareness and support.

• All women 15 and over receive a Herr's Ladies Crossbody Clutch.

• Plus, be on the lookout for the Phanatic’s mom, Phoebe, who will be taking part in the events during the game.

5.   Last chance to bid on signed items at the Phillies Charities, Inc. Auction, including a Phillies Mother’s Day Bundle! Aaron Nola, Ranger Suárez, Jean Segura and Zack Wheeler autographed items, as well as signed memorabilia from 2008 World Series champions Ryan Howard and Jimmy Rollins, are up for bid until noon on Friday, May 9, via the MLB Ballpark App (available on iOS and Android devices only).

Safety guidelines: In accordance with the City’s recently updated safety guidelines, fans are strongly encouraged to wear masks in indoor spaces at the ballpark including the Diamond Club, retail stores, elevators and restrooms. Fans are reminded to bring their own mask if they will be at one of the previously mentioned areas at Citizens Bank Park.

Parking lots: Parking for Phillies games is cashless. Methods of payment include credit/debit cards and mobile payment (Apple Pay and Google Pay). To expedite entry, pre-paid parking passes may also be purchased prior to the game. Tailgating lots (M, N & O) will open 5 hours prior to first pitch and non-tailgating lots will open 3 hours prior.

Gate Openings: On Thursday, all gates open at 5:35 p.m. On Friday to Sunday, all gates open 90 minutes prior to game time.

To expedite entry: Guests are prohibited from bringing bags, including backpacks, into the ballpark. Only clutch purses (12" x 12" x 1"), fanny packs, medical bags, clear or solid tote bags and diaper bags will be permitted into Citizens Bank Park.

Broadcast: All games will be broadcast on NBCSP, 94 WIP and WTTM 1680, as well as available via live stream for authenticated subscribers on NBC Sports Philadelphia’s MyTeams app. The game on Thursday, May 5, will also be broadcast on MLBN (out-of-market only).
