Town baseball has been a tradition in the state of Minnesota since the 1920's. Over 300 teams make up the three class system. In most states townball is all but extinct in its traditional form. In others, particularly in Minnesota, it remains as vibrant and popular as ever. Kids riding on lawn tractors dragging the infield after games, family members running concessions stands, and most importantly players and coaches making those long drives on those warm summer nights all for the love of one thing... the game of baseball.
