Here in Twins Territory, we’re shouting from the rooftops that girls belong in baseball.
Girls across Twins Territory are playing baseball and love this game. But most girls play as the only girl on a baseball team of boys, and as girls get older, many are pressured to switch to softball or quit playing the game altogether. The Minnesota Twins and the Twins Community Fund believe that every kid should have support and opportunities to play the game they love – whether that’s baseball or softball.
We are on a mission to build a youth baseball culture where girls feel like they belong on a ballfield and can develop their skills in a positive environment. Together with athletes, parents, coaches, partners and fans, we are changing the game and ensuring that ballfields are spaces where all young people can play joyfully and compete fiercely.
Girls Baseball Opportunities
The Twins Community Fund offers year-round training opportunities for girls to develop their skills and grow in our game.

Every summer, we host Twins Girls Baseball Camp for girls ages 7-14. This camp offers three days of instruction, scrimmages and workshops to help girls develop their skills on and off the field.
Camp will be held July 13-15, 2026 at CHS Field. Check back later to register!

Twins Girls Baseball Nationals Teams
In 2026, the Minnesota Twins and Twins Community Fund are proud to support a 14U and a 16U girls baseball team to compete at the Baseball For All Nationals on July 19-25, 2026 in Rockford, Illinois.
Eligible players are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to represent the Minnesota Twins at the largest girls baseball tournament in the country!
The tournament age cutoff date is April 30, 2026. Team selections will be made by staff from the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Girls Baseball Association by mid-February, 2026.
Selected players whom accept a roster spot must be able to commit to the required travel and accommodations associated with the tournament, including transportation, lodging and meals. The Minnesota Twins will cover the team registration fee and provide team uniform tops, hats, socks and belts.
In 2025, the Minnesota Twins became the first MLB team to field a girls baseball team to compete at Baseball For All Nationals, the largest girls baseball tournament in the world. This 14U team, funded by the Twins Community Fund, went on to compete in the championship and take home second place at the tournament in Reno, Nevada. Check out the team’s history-making journey in the Road to Reno series!

Our collaboration with grassroots girls baseball organizations has reached girls across the nation, expanding opportunities and building a network of support for girls who may be the only one in their town playing baseball.
