... And the envelope, please: John Axford makes his Oscar picks (UPDATE: He nailed it)
Update II, 11 a.m. Monday: Axford has made his acceptance speech in the category of Best Oscars Picker: "I'd like to thank myself," the closer told MLB.com's Adam McCalvey. "I should just retire. I can't do any better without getting them perfect."
Update, midnight ET: And the results are in: Axford went 14-for-15. His only incorrect pick was Best Director -- he picked Steven Spielberg, but Ang Lee won for Life of Pi.

Original post: After 2,000 straight hours of Red Carpet coverage, you may be aware that the Academy Awards are airing Sunday night. And along with "Who's wearing who?" and "Is the Beasts of the Southern Wild a real movie?" the big question is "Who's gonna win?"
Well, have no fear, John Axford is here with a rundown of his picks for the night. And because he grows mustaches like this, we believe everything he says:
The Academy Awards are soon upon us and I'm going to give my best predictions. Trying to beat last years 11/15...
