Molina given rival Phillips' locker for All-Star Game
Brandon Phillips and Yadier Molina have been doing battle in the NL Central since 2006. And, as in all rivalries, it hasn't always been pretty. Things were said, feelings hurt:
Luckily, though, this story has a happy ending. MLB.com's Jenifer Langosch caught up with Yadi in the clubhouse at Great American Ball Park prior to the All-Star Game, and apparently the two have not only made up, but their relationship has evolved from kicking each other to that ultimate bond -- sharing a locker.
Yes, of all the lockers in Cincinnati, Molina was given Phillips', and he took the news well: "This is Phillips' locker? How about that? I'll have to write something to him," he said.
