A young Twins fan named after Torii Hunter got to play catch with his namesake

Torii Hunter took some time before Thursday's Twins-Tigers game to play catch with a young fan out on the field.

Hunter, a boy diagnosed with leukemia, was so named because his parents are huge baseball fans. As a part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, his dream was to play catch with his namesake, and he and his family drove all the way down from Minnesota to make the wish come true.

The Tigers right fielder was more than happy to make it happen for the young fan, and even spent some time afterward describing how awesome it was to his teammates.

Torii Hunter, a former Twin himself, is one of the good ones, and the fact that he enjoyed granting the wish almost as much as the fan enjoyed partaking in it is a testament to that.
