It's a Bay Area thing: A's and Giants celebrate Warriors championship

A's and Giants celebrate Warriors championship

Baseball is blessed: With the A's and Giants, MLB boasts two teams from the Bay Area. Some sports (*cough*NBA*cough*) aren't so lucky. So, when the Warriors topped LeBron James and the Cavaliers in Game 6 of the Finals and won their first championship in 40 years, they had double the number of cross-sport good vibes sent their way (and for good measure, both the Giants and A's won Tuesday night. Because of course they did).

The Giants know exactly what it feels like to be reigning champs:

The A's were there representing Oakland's share of the Bay:

And we shouldn't forget those down the coast. They're the Golden State Warriors, after all.

Congratulations @wardell30 for 2015 MVP and NBA champion
