Australian youngster begs, pleads, screams -- and finally gets a baseball
The Dodgers played Team Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground early Thursday morning, and one young fan in attendance would not be denied in his quest to take home a special souvenir.
It all started with an innocent foul popup:
But an errant throw into the stands suggested that no fan would lap up the luxuries of a Sydney souvenir:
One yellow-shirted youngster wasn't happy about the poor toss. He reallllly wanted that ball:
But, alas, a fellow fan was gifted with the keepsake:
Our protagonist could not abide this arrangement. Summoning all of his emotion, he let loose with a face recognizable to frustrated parents and babysitters on any continent. And in the end, it worked:
