Infinite Jess: Baker Mayfield wants Yelich for NL MVP
I have reached the 10th episode of Infinite Jess and I am inching toward the postseason. But before I get too excited about the Wild Card Games, it's time to talk possible MVPs.
In the latest episode, I talked about Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield and Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich's friendship. Not only did Mayfield show up to a Thursday Night Football game wearing a Yelich jersey, but the team actually won the game against the Jets. That's friendship goals.
And yes, you read that right: The Browns won a game.
Joining me this week was MLB Network's Robert Flores, who gave me some of his favorite National League storylines and wondered if Yelich indeed deserves MVP honors. I was also joined by MLB.com's Anthony Castrovince and he told me who he wants to sport an "Anthony Castrovince" jersey.
