Batman and Captain America united for one cause on Thursday: getting Bryce Harper's autograph

Batman and Captain America -- along with an unidentified sidekick I'll call Tuxedo T-Shirt Man -- were at Minute Maid Park together on Thursday. Was it because the Joker and the Red Skull were there to wreak supervillainous havoc upon the unsuspecting citizens of Houston?

No! In fact, Cap and the Caped Crusader were there to support a hero of the baseball-playing sort, who was in town to play the Astros: Nationals wunderkind Bryce Harper.

It wasn't the first time the two have come together, but it was probably the first time they both wore eyeblack strips with their names written on them. And I can only imagine how powerful the Captain's adamantium steel-vibranium alloy shield is now that it has Harper's signature on it.
