After struggling to turn a double play, Brian Dozier decided to give his glove a stern talking-to

Dozier has some words for glove after turning DP

There are a couple of things we know for sure about Twins second baseman Brian Dozier: 1) He's shockingly good at Rubik's Cubes and 2) if Saturday's game against the Tigers is any indication, he's quite the perfectionist. Sure, he may have successfully turned a double play in the bottom of the sixth, but he had a little trouble getting the ball out of his glove to make the throw, and such equipment malfeasance could not stand.

And so, much as Hamlet saw the finality of death in Yorick's skull, Dozier addressed his glove -- a haunting reminder that perfection would forever elude him, no matter how tirelessly he chased it. Basically, he told it what's what:

Or, alternatively, Dozier keeps a mirror in there and went full Travis Bickle while no one had the heart to say anything.
