Bryce Harper is fond of the literary greats. We know this because he spends his days tweeting quotations culled from the canon.
Tuesday's excerpt is a promotion of self-realization among individuals and agency for the dreamer-class from Thoreau's Walden:
"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined." -Henry David Thoreau #DreamBig
- Bryce Harper (@Bharper3407) September 3, 2013
Nitpickers might point out that the quote is not entirely accurate -- a fair point. But, does not a slavish devotion to the printed word make you reliant upon society and its consumerist culture? Think on that a while.
