Carlton Fisk once willed a long drive into fair territory with his iconic handwave in the 1975 World Series. Carlos Gomez didn't have the same result on Wednesday, as he completed a full trot around the bases despite his potential home run being ruled foul.

As if that wasn't rough enough, Gomez took a called third strike on the next pitch.
