Curtis Granderson stumbles and bumbles his way out of the batter's box on single

Curtis Granderson was looking to start the second half of 2014 off on the right foot for the Mets, but ended up starting it with two left feet instead. With two gone in the top of the first, Granderson lined an Ian Kennedy pitch back up the middle. The problem, though, was that he tripped over the batter's box on his way to first.

He came up all smiles and eventually came around to score on a Travis d'Arnaud single. The Mets tacked on two more in the inning against the Padres, so it turned out to be the right foot after all.
