David Wright apparently owns a lock (or locket?) of Jacob deGrom's hair
Wright owns lock of deGrom's hair
David Wright appeared on MLB Network Radio's Power Alley on Thursday to talk about the 2015 Mets, Matt Harvey and his shoulder rehab. Normal questions with normal answers.
But then, when asked about his first impression of newly-annointed NL Rookie of the Year Jacob deGrom, the Mets third baseman had this to say:
David Wright on first thing that stood out about Jacob deGrom: "he has bad hair, and he's messy. I cut a locket out of his hair once"

Does David Wright mean "lock?" Why did he cut a lock out of his hair if he thinks it's bad? How and when did he cut a lock out of his hair? Did deGrom enjoy having a lock cut out of his hair?
Honestly, we hope Wright does indeed have a "locket" of deGrom's hair. That would be nice.
