Don't worry, Hunter Pence and the pitcher who plunked him are totally cool now
Pence and pitcher who plunked him make up on Twitter
Heading into the 2015 season, Giants right fielder Hunter Pence had a lot to feel good about: he's a two-time World Series champion and had the longest active streak of consecutive games played in MLB.
Emphasis on the past tense there because Pence was clunked with a pitch during a Spring Training game against the Cubs. Pence suffered a non-displaced fracture of his left ulna (forearm) when he wore a pitch from Cubbies prospect Corey Black on Thursday.
Pence and Black made up on Twitter after the incident, with Black apologizing for hitting the Giants' All-Star right fielder and Pence understanding that it's all part of the game.
@CblackCHC It happens my friend. Thanks for the concern, it's a part of the game we love. No slowing down!

Pence is due back in 6-8 weeks, so Gregor Blanco and Nori Aoki will presumably keep his spot warm until at least late April.
